The client came to us through Upwork with a clear vision: create a protein bar brand with strong Arabic character — but not the classic, old-school aesthetic. He wanted something that feels contemporary while being deeply rooted in Gulf culture.
The challenge was finding the balance between heritage and modernity, between local authenticity and global appeal.

The brand name "Oryx" refers to the Arabian Oryx (المها العربي) — a majestic desert animal that symbolizes strength, endurance, and Arabian heritage.
This became the foundation for everything. The icon, the typography, the patterns — every detail traces back to this powerful creature. We didn't just design a logo; we built a visual language around the spirit of the desert.

We built the entire identity around the Oryx. The icon captures its grace and power. The custom typeface details are derived from its form. Even the diamond pattern on the packaging echoes the geometric beauty of Arabian design.
The brand speaks to athletes who want natural sports products with local ingredients and cultural authenticity — without compromising on modern aesthetics.

Desert Tones — brown, beige, olive green, deep burgundy. A palette inspired by the Arabian landscape: warm sands, resilient plants, and the strength of earth.
The diamond/argyle pattern creates a premium, geometric feel. It's inspired by traditional Arabian designs but executed in a contemporary way that works across all touchpoints.
Strong, clear, confident. The typeface commands attention while maintaining elegance. Custom details in the letterforms echo the Oryx's distinctive features.
Each flavor has its own color identity within the system. The packaging stands tall on shelves — literally. The vertical orientation and bold typography make Oryx Bar impossible to miss.
