A 45-year Bahraini laundry brand, rebuilt around the elephant that started it all.

PIVOT METHOD®
/ OVERVIEW
Jambo is one of Bahrain's oldest laundry names — a family-run service that has cared for three generations of clothes since 1979. Households know it by the elephant on the storefront. Hotels and factories know it by the trucks that have shown up, on time, for decades.
After 45+ years, the brand had earned trust but lost coherence. Storefronts, vans, packaging and digital all spoke in different voices. The 2026 rebrand keeps everything customers love about Jambo and rebuilds the visual system around it.

PIVOT METHOD®
/ CHALLENGE
Jambo serves two very different worlds at once — Bahraini families with thobes, abayas and suits at home, and B2B clients (hotels, factories, uniforms) by the truckload. The visual system had to scale from a single garment tag to the side of a delivery van without ever feeling generic.
More than that, it had to honor the equity already on the street: the elephant, the blue, the bilingual name. Throw those away and you throw away three generations of recognition.

PIVOT METHOD®
/ INSIGHT
The elephant was never a decoration — it was the brand. Strength. Memory. Reliability. Trust. Customers in Manama have been pointing at the elephant on the door for forty-five years.
Once we accepted that the icon was non-negotiable, the rest of the system fell into place around it. The trunk became the creative engine — a single curving line that could draw anything the brand needed to say.

PIVOT METHOD®
/ CONCEPT
We built Jambo on a 3-layer system. The Elephant Icon is the fixed mark — the brand's signature, never altered. The Service Icons are bold and functional — five clear badges for the five services Jambo actually performs. The Trunk Line is free, decorative and alive — a flowing curve that drapes across storefronts, vans, tags and packaging like the trunk of the elephant itself.
Together they let one brand speak with three different voices on the same page: a stamp of trust, a clear menu of services, and a moment of life.

PIVOT METHOD®
/ EXECUTION
A bilingual lockup pairs the English Jambo Laundry with the Arabic مغسلة جامبو inside a circular stamp anchored by the elephant and EST 1979. Three variants flex across scale: the full stamp for storefronts and signage, the icon mark for tags and favicons, and a horizontal lockup for vehicles and stationery.
Five badges for five services — Dry Cleaning, Steam Ironing, Tent Cleaning, Carpet Cleaning, Curtain Cleaning. Each one is bold, single-color and instantly readable from across a parking lot. They lock together as a row on packaging and split apart as standalone tags on garments.
A single drawn curve that moves through every application — wrapping a van, framing a storefront ribbon, looping under a tagline, hanging a garment bag. The trunk is the brand's handwriting.
Your Clothes Deserve Better Care / ملابسك تستاهل عناية أفضل. Crisp Like the First Day. We Clean What Matters. Doorstep to Doorstep / من بابك وإلى بابك.

PIVOT METHOD®
/ OUTCOME
The new Jambo system works at every size and on every surface — from a 16px favicon on a customer's phone to a full-height sign over the shop door. The same elephant, the same blue, the same trunk line, in the same voice.
Storefronts, delivery vans, uniforms, garment bags, packaging, business cards, social tiles and a 92-page brand guideline — all built and rolled out together so the next 45 years look like one brand, not forty-five.
And it's no longer a deck. The new Jambo is already on the street — installed and live on the storefronts in Bahrain, real and ready to launch.
