Pivot Studio operates wepivotstudio.com and is responsible for the information described in this privacy policy. It covers visitors to our website, people who contact us, and our private publishing application, Pivot Studio Publisher.
Pivot Studio Publisher is in development and its Pinterest API access is awaiting approval. It is intended for the studio account owner to prepare and publish the studio’s own original images. It is not currently available as a public service. The sections below describe the data handling that will apply when the integration is enabled; they do not mean that Pinterest access or publishing is already available.
Every visit is recorded in our own log: the page, the site that linked you here, campaign tags in the link, your device type, browser and country. We do not store your IP address. It is turned into an anonymous code that changes every day, so visits on different days cannot be linked to each other.
We also use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to count visits and measure page speed. They do not set cookies either.
Only if you choose Accept: Google Analytics (to see which work people read) and Apollo.io (which may identify the company behind a visit from its network address).
If you choose Decline, none of them set cookies. You can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
What you type into a form, along with how you first found the site, goes to our team and our client records so we can reply and follow up on your project. We do not sell it or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
When enabled, the account owner will authorize Pivot Studio Publisher through Pinterest’s official OAuth flow. We will not ask for or collect a Pinterest password or session cookies. Authorization credentials will be handled server-side, restricted to the publishing integration, and kept out of public pages, source code, analytics and AI prompts.
The initial integration will request boards:read to let the owner choose an existing board, pins:write to publish individually selected image Pins, and pins:read to check the resulting Pins. It will access only the authenticated account’s own boards and Pins. Advertising, billing, audiences, private boards, other users’ accounts and login passwords are outside this use case.
The publishing inputs are the owner’s original image files, titles, descriptions, alternative text, destination links and chosen boards. Pinterest receives the selected content when the owner instructs the application to publish it. A batch will contain only Pins the owner has individually selected and reviewed; the application will not post without that instruction.
Pinterest information will be used only to select a publishing destination, carry out the owner’s requested publishing actions and show the outcome. We will not sell it, use it for advertising profiles, combine it with unrelated account data, or use it to train or fine-tune AI models.
Optional AI assistance in ChatGPT or Codex will work with original images and text supplied by the owner to prepare draft titles, descriptions and alternative text. The owner controls which original materials are shared with the selected AI service, whose own privacy terms also apply. Retrieved Pinterest API content and authorization credentials will not be supplied to an AI service. AI drafts require the owner’s review before publishing.
Our website uses hosting and analytics providers as described above. The publishing integration will process authorized requests on infrastructure operated for Pivot Studio. Pinterest receives publication requests under its own privacy policy. We will not disclose Pinterest API information to unrelated third parties or use it for their marketing.
Pinterest board and Pin information will be requested live when needed, processed for the current operation and not retained as a separate database, cache or archive. We will not log API response bodies. Authorization credentials are retained only while needed for an authorized connection, and will be removed when the connection is discontinued.
Original files and draft text supplied by the owner may be kept for the owner’s publishing workflow until the owner deletes them or requests deletion. These original materials are distinct from information obtained through the Pinterest API. Access will be limited to the authorized operator, with HTTPS used for transmission. Any future change to the integration’s providers or data handling will be reflected in this policy before it is enabled.
You can revoke the application’s access through your Pinterest account’s connected-app permissions. Revocation prevents further authorized access; you can also contact us to disconnect the integration and remove credentials or original drafts held by Pivot Studio Publisher.
For access, correction or deletion requests, email hi@wepivotstudio.com with the subject “Pivot Studio Publisher privacy request”. Identify the connected account and the information concerned, but do not send passwords, tokens or secret keys. We will verify ownership, explain any information we must retain for a legal obligation, and confirm when the request has been completed.
Disconnecting the application or deleting its local drafts does not delete Pins already published on Pinterest. Manage those Pins directly in Pinterest. Content retained in your ChatGPT or Codex conversation is managed through that service’s own privacy and deletion controls.
